Emina is the story of a young woman, a survivor of the Bosnian War, now living in America. She leads a quiet life, drowned in memories amongst a fragile peace. Her peace is destroyed when she runs into a man who had been her neighbor, her brother's best friend, and the one man who consistently and brutally raped her during the war. As her memories start to unravel, she is forced to confront him, and the past she worked so hard to forget.
